Li Jun Meets with JLP Chairman

Beijing, September 29th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today on the morning with Robert Montague, Chairman of the Jamaican Labour Party (JLP) and Minister of National Security, who was in China for the 86th Interpol General Assembly.

Mainly introducing the preparations for the 19th CPC National Congress, Li spoke positively of China-Jamaica relations and expressed that the CPC is willing to enhance exchanges and cooperation with the JLP to continuously elevate bilateral relations to new highs.

Wishing the 19th CPC National Congress a complete success, Montague expressed that the JLP attaches great importance to developing its friendly relations with the CPC and expects to learn experience from the CPC in party governance and state administration, so as to promote Jamaica-China relations for comprehensive and in-depth development.
