Beijing, September 29th--Guo Yezhou, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, met here today with Jarno Syrjala, Finnish Ambassador to China. Both sides conducted communication on China-Finland relations, exchanges between political parties and other regional issues of common concern.
Guo said that President Xi Jinping visited Finland this April, during which both countries have officially confirmed to establish a future-oriented new type cooperative partnership, providing strategic and long-term plan to the future development of China-Finland relations. Both sides should comprehensively implement the consensus of leaders of both countries, advance party-to-party exchanges and strengthen cooperation at bilateral, regional and global levels, so as to promote bilateral relations for continuous development.
Syrjala expressed that Finland is ready to, together with China, well implement the important consensus reached by both leaders and boost exchanges between political parties, in a bid to constantly enrich the connotation of bilateral future-oriented new type cooperative partnership. He wished the 19th CPC National Congress a complete success.
