Li Jun Meets with Uruguayan Minister of the Interior

Beijing, July 12th—Li Jun, Vice-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today on the morning with visiting delegation led by Eduardo Bonomi, Uruguayan Minister of the Interior and leader of the ruling Broad Front coalition.

Speaking positively of relations between both countries and the two parties, Li expressed that the CPC attaches high importance to continuously enhancing inter-party exchanges and learning from each other’s experience on party governance and administration with the  Broad Front, so as to promote China-Uruguay strategic partnership for smooth, steady and healthy development.

Bonomi said that the Uruguayan side fully treasures the relations between the two countries and both parties, and is willing to make joint efforts with the CPC to further facilitate personnel exchanges, and promote mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.
