Dou Enyong Meets with Study Group of Think Tank Scholars and Media Figures of Countries along the "Belt and Road"

Beijing, December 20th--Dou Enyong, Assistant-minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee met here today on the morning with think tank scholars and media figures from Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Pakistan and other countries.

Dou expressed that the "Belt and Road" initiative has been continuously forging ahead since its proposal three years ago. It has achieved positive progress in such aspects as mechanism construction and project cooperation, which is the result of joint efforts by all countries, and fully demonstrates the openness and inclusiveness of the "Belt and Road" initiative. Think tank scholars and media figures have played unique and positive roles in it. China is willing to work with all sides to further enhance communication and cooperation at all levels, including political parties, governments and non-governmental level, and promote countries along the "Belt and Road" to share development opportunities and outcomes, so as to earnestly benefit people of all countries.

Representatives of think tanks and media expressed that they are willing to step up understanding of the "Belt and Road" in their countries through respective research and report, and boost communication as well as cooperation.
